    seting up your wakemate

    Pairing your WakeMate wristband with your iOS device (You only need to pair once.)

    1. Plug the charger into your WakeMate wristband.
    2. Turn the WakeMate wristband on. The green LED on the WakeMate wristband should blink repeatedly.
    3. On your device navigate to ‘Settings’ - ‘General’ - ‘Bluetooth’.
    4. If Bluetooth is off, turn it on.
    5. Select the WakeMate from the list of Bluetooth devices and wait for it to pair.
    6. If asked, the passcode is 1234.
    7. Once the WakeMate wristband has paired successfully, switch it off, and then on.

    Downloading the WakeMate application for your iOS device

    1. Open the App Store application on your iOS device.
    2. Search for ‘WakeMate’.
    3. Download and Install the WakeMate application.

    Connecting the WakeMate wristband to the WakeMate application

    1. Turn the WakeMate wristband on.
    2. Open the WakeMate application on your iOS device.
    3. Select the 'Status' tab from the tab bar to confirm connection.
    4. The ‘Status’ page will show the estimated WakeMate wristband battery remaining. We recommend you fully charge the WakeMate wristband before the first use.

    Logging in on the WakeMate mobile application

    1. To register for an account got to wakemate.com/accounts/login.
    2. To login, select the login button on the phone and enter you account information.

    Setting the alarm on your WakeMate application

    1. Select the ‘set alarm’ button.
    2. Input the desired alarm time. This time will be the failsafe time.
    3. The 20-minute window will automatically be set prior to that alarm time.
    4. Example: If you set the alarm time for 9:00 AM the window is set from 8:40AM -9:00 AM.
    5. If no optimal time is found the alarm goes off at the set time.
    6. To change alarm tone, click the musical note in the top left corner.

    1. In the 'Alarm' tab, press the ‘tags’ button on the top right.
    2. To create a new tag type a description and press done to add it.
    3. To select a tag tap it once. To reselect it tap it again.
    4. To delete tags, swipe to the right on the tag.

    Uploading data to the Wakelytics website

    1. After the alarm is turned off, the data is automatically uploaded.

    1. Navigate here on your phone, select your operating system and you will automatically install the app.

    3. Press the BlackBerry key to open the menu, and select "WakeMate Status".
    4. The ‘Status’ dialog will show the estimated WakeMate wristband battery remaining. We recommend you fully charge the WakeMate wristband before the first use.

    General Use

    What is the standby feature?

    After 3 minutes of non-movement, the WakeMate wristband will go into standby mode and disconnect from the phone application to save power. To get it out of standby, just shake the unit.

    What do the lights mean?

    Off Off/Standby
    Green blink every second Waiting to connect/pair

    Green blink every 4 seconds Active, recording data

    How do I charge it?

    Charge the unit with the supplied USB to mini USB cable. You may charge it with your computer or any existing USB wall adapter. A solid red light indicates charging and will go off once the unit is fully charged. It takes about 40 minuets to fully charge the wristband from a dead state.

    How do I clean it?

    You may machine wash the wristband, but make sure you take out the electronics first!

    Troubleshooting

    I can't pair my WakeMate

    1. Reboot the wristband.
    2. Reboot the phone.
    3. Email contact@wakemate.com.

    I can't connect my WakeMate

    1. Make sure the green light is on.
    2. Reboot the wristband.
    3. Reboot the phone.

    My wristband won't charge

    My wristband won't turn on

    1. Plug it in and try again.

    My wristband blinks rapidly all the time
